Key Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts and warehouse equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning pallets and logging data into warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class I or Class III Forklift Operator certification (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
