Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, move, and stack materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of the forklift to ensure safety compliance and proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using scanning equipment and computerized systems.
- Ensure adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA 10 or equivalent certification required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Ability to read and understand pick tickets, packing lists, and safety manuals.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
