Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized goods efficiently
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs immediately
- Manage inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to meet OSHA compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading dock operations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for material handling and equipment operation
- Assist in training new operators on equipment usage and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with warehouse technology including RF scanners and inventory software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends as needed
