Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Collaborate with warehouse team to meet daily production targets and maintain inventory accuracy
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies for equipment operation
- Assist with inventory management, stacking, and organizing warehouse storage areas
- Document all activities and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse/distribution setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends as needed
