Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse/distribution environments
- Safely load/unload trucks and containers with efficiency and precision
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Manage inventory control and documentation systems
- Maintain clean, organized work areas following OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Train on new equipment and safety protocols as needed
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic math skills for inventory management
