Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and yard areas
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflow and productivity
- Stack and organize materials efficiently to maximize storage space
- Assist in receiving and shipping processes as needed
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and shipping/receiving procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional overtime
