Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Follow warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Coordinate with team members to streamline material flow
- Accurately document inventory movements and complete paperwork
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
