Role Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. You will ensure inventory accuracy and maintain a high standard of safety for all personnel.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Manage inventory accuracy through scanning and logging stock movements.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet shipping deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Certification (CPC).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork.
- Must be reliable and able to work rotating shifts.
