Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize palletized materials efficiently
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs immediately
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including proper load handling and traffic management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet deadlines
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment processes
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts in warehouse settings
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and inventory labels
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied temperatures
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
