Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and yard areas
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Load/unload trucks and containers using precision techniques to prevent damage
- Manage inventory counts and maintain accurate documentation in WMS systems
- Adhere to OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification required (training provided if needed)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Basic math proficiency for inventory reconciliation
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends during peak seasons
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Pre-employment drug screening mandatory
