Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Manage inventory accurately using warehouse management systems and documentation
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, adhering to OSHA and company safety standards
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately to supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts in warehouse environments
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
