Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and meet production goals
- Assist in general warehouse duties including stacking, organizing, and order preparation
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately to supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain through our training program)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional overtime and weekends
- Forklift certification preferred but not required (training provided)
