Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts (Class A, B, or C) to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and ensuring stock counts match warehouse management systems.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily production targets.
- Keep the work area organized and clean, ensuring proper storage of products to minimize damage and loss.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating heavy industrial material handling equipment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with barcode scanners and warehouse software.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
