Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Collaborate with warehouse team to coordinate efficient inventory flow and storage
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational procedures
- Accurately document inventory movements and maintain warehouse records
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Participate in cross-functional projects to optimize warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and 1+ years of recent operating experience
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse settings
- Ability to read and interpret warehouse layouts, inventory labels, and shipping documents
- Physical stamina to stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), and operate equipment for extended periods
- Basic mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine equipment checks
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability for various shifts
