Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods with precision
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
- Strictly adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines at all times
- Assist with inventory management through accurate stock tracking and documentation
- Maintain clean, organized work areas to maximize operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) with minimum 2 years experience
- Proven track record of operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse settings
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, inventory reports, and safety manuals
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards
- Physical stamina to handle lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in logistics preferred
