Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts and other machinery before and after use to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Perform inventory counts and stock replenishment to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA preferred) or willingness to obtain one.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
