Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Inspect equipment for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks before every shift.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain proper documentation for all stock movements.
- Stack and organize pallets safely to maximize warehouse space and prevent damage to goods.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist with general warehouse duties including sweeping, mopping, and organizing workstations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (required; on-site training available for qualified candidates).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and walk extensively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
