Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Load, unload, move, and stack inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Inventory Management: accurately document and track incoming and outgoing shipments using warehouse management software.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Organization: Keep warehouse aisles clear and organized to ensure efficient workflow and safety.
- Cargo Handling: Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transit within the facility.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Basic English skills required to read safety signs and communicate with supervisors.
- License: Valid driver’s license preferred but not required for entry-level operator roles.
- Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to obtain forklift certification through our training program.
