Responsibilities
- Safely operate stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move, locate, and stack merchandise.
- Conduct thorough pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Load and unload trucks in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to shipping schedules.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and assist with stock rotation to ensure product freshness and availability.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure efficient workflow and resolve any immediate logistical issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and logging inventory data.
