What You Will Do:
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections to ensure equipment safety.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock organization.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of material handling equipment, including stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments by conducting physical counts.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for distribution.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking software.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
