Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Organize and maintain inventory stock in designated storage areas to maximize efficiency.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Accurately complete all necessary documentation and paperwork related to inventory movements.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CFA or equivalent).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
