Responsibilities
- Operate electric/pneumatic forklifts to move pallets in temperature-controlled facilities
- Perform daily equipment inspections and safety checks per OSHA standards
- Manage inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping targets
- Maintain accurate documentation of material movements and inventory counts
- Adhere to strict safety protocols in fast-paced environments
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 72 hours
- Minimum 6 months warehouse/forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Reliable transportation to Bronx/Queens warehouse hubs
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient with RF scanning technology
