Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized goods
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading workflows
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and equipment maintenance procedures
- Operate in temperature-controlled environments (32°F to 85°F)
- Perform routine equipment pre-shift inspections
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (within 6 months of hire)
- Minimum 1 year recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- RF scanner experience preferred
- Reliable transportation to shift locations
- Ability to work flexible shifts (early mornings, nights, weekends)
