Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized materials
- Perform daily equipment safety inspections and pre-shift checks
- Manage inventory using RF scanning systems
- Load/unload trucks with proper weight distribution
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse zones
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with team for efficient dock operations
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory verification
- Pass background check and drug screening
- RF scanner experience preferred
- Reliable transportation to Northwest Chicago facility
