Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse/distribution settings
- Load/unload freight trucks and containers with precision
- Perform pre/post-shift equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow
- Operate other warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, order pickers) as needed
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 48 hours)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Reliable transportation to worksites across Louisville metro
