Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized goods up to 10,000 lbs
- Conduct pre-shift safety inspections and report equipment malfunctions
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company loading procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock operations
- Stack and organize inventory in designated storage zones
- Assist with warehouse cleaning and maintenance duties
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 1 year recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work early morning/night shifts
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
