Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts to move pallets of goods in high-volume warehouses
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse documentation
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and equipment maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading operations
- Operate in temperature-controlled environments (32°F-45°F) as needed
- Complete daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety reports
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 1 year recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Experience working in cold storage or food handling facilities preferred
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
