Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift forklift inspections to ensure equipment safety and functionality.
- Verify inventory accuracy by cross-referencing delivery tickets with stock.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Assist in the organization of pallets and storage areas to optimize warehouse space.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (Must provide valid certification or willing to undergo training).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of basic warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and logging.
