Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Load/unload freight trucks and containers using precision handling techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory records via warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols at all times
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Assist in warehouse organization and dock operations as needed
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification with minimum 1 year recent experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards and inventory control
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Preferred experience with RF scanners and voice-directed picking
