Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance and proper functionality.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper labeling.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding hazardous materials and heavy machinery.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth flow of operations and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
