Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts and machinery daily to ensure they are in proper working order and report any maintenance issues.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper labeling.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline shipping and receiving processes.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including palletizing, stretching, and order picking.
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork.
- Willingness to undergo a forklift certification training program.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Valid driver's license (not always required but preferred).
