Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., reach trucks, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently in accordance with all company safety protocols.
- Load, unload, and move products to and from designated storage areas, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of inventory.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Organize warehouse storage and maintain a clean, organized work environment to minimize hazards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as requested by management.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning labels and logging data.
