Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with OSHA standards
- Coordinate with warehouse team to maintain organized inventory storage and retrieval systems
- Document inventory movements using digital tracking systems and paper logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and contribute to a hazard-free work environment
- Support cross-functional teams during peak periods to meet production targets
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of industrial forklift operation experience in warehouse settings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness in fast-paced environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Flexible availability to work overtime shifts, weekends, and holidays
