Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets and materials throughout the facility
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues to supervisor
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company material handling standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Operate powered pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed
- Support year-round inventory cycles and seasonal peak periods
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within first 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Spanish bilingual preferred (not required)
