Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, to move materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and handled with care to prevent damage.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance and proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging, sorting, and scanning stock as required.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- License: Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure inventory accuracy and safety compliance.
