Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock to ensure efficient warehouse flow and retrieval.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Assist in the packaging, labeling, and preparation of shipments for timely delivery.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and operational deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Forklift Operator Certification (CP/CDL preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting and checking.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
