Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the facility and to delivery vehicles.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily shipping deadlines.
- Keep storage areas organized and free of debris to ensure safe operation.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
