Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to move, stack, and organize materials safely.
- Load and unload freight from trailers, trucks, and shipping containers efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper maintenance and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and logging stock movements.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and workplace housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator license (valid for the specific equipment operated).
- Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
