Responsibilities
- Operate high-reach and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock in designated storage areas.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to streamline workflow and meet production deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in inventory management systems.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions (loading dock).
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
