Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Utilize forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Inventory Control: Accurately count, tag, and stock inventory while maintaining strict record-keeping standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of machinery and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment with speed and precision.
- General Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with RF scanners or handheld inventory systems is a plus.
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
