Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure all safety standards are met.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ensure the workspace is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding lifting and material handling.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including palletizing and shrink-wrapping.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating forklifts (counterbalance, reach, or order picker) is preferred but training may be provided.
- Current forklift operator certification or valid license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
