Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading dock.
- Perform daily safety checks on forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and stock audits.
- Ensure all products are stored according to safety regulations and company protocols.
- Collaborate with team leads to streamline operations and meet daily productivity targets.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and warehouse traffic rules.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean, orderly warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license (not always required for indoor forklift roles).
