Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and yard
- Inspect equipment daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload trucks with precision using appropriate rigging techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Operate auxiliary equipment (pallet jacks, order pickers) as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience with valid certification
- OSHA Forklift Operator certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Clean driving record and pre-employment drug screen pass
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
