Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
- Verify inventory counts and accurately document stock movements in the warehouse management system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform routine pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient workflow.
- Stack and store products in designated areas to prevent damage and ensure easy accessibility.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed, including packaging and labeling.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Safety Awareness: Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and accident prevention.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to verify quantities and identify discrepancies in inventory.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory tracking.
