Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment for safety issues and report any malfunctions to management immediately.
- Organize, stack, and inventory products according to established safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweep floors and organize pallets.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following OSHA guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Complete daily logs and paperwork accurately regarding inventory counts and equipment usage.
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience required; we will train the right candidate.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills and ability to read and understand pick tickets and labels.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification during the hiring process.
