As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently. We value safety and accuracy above all else and provide extensive training for all new hires.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers, pallets, and containers using forklifts and pallet jacks with precision and speed.
- Organize and stack inventory in the warehouse to maintain optimal space utilization.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of forklift equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all OSHA and company safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment during daily cycle counts.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse managers regarding shipment status and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous warehouse or forklift experience is a plus, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to obtain a valid forklift certification (training provided).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
