Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery to move products throughout the warehouse.
- Load and Unload Goods: Accurately load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the receiving, storing, and picking of inventory, ensuring stock levels are accurate.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications
- License: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (we can assist with training if you have a clean driving record).
- Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Strong ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety documentation.
