Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move goods throughout the facility
- Inspect and maintain assigned equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Load/unload trucks and containers efficiently while adhering to weight distribution guidelines
- Manage inventory counts and document material movements accurately in our WMS system
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading processes
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse setting
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
