Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move products within warehouse facilities
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Load/unload trucks and containers with precision while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet operational targets
- Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist in inventory management and warehouse organization initiatives
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to supervisor
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (e.g., OSHA, Hyster, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts in warehouse or distribution settings
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and incident prevention
- Ability to read and interpret warehouse layouts, inventory codes, and shipping manifests
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
