Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and material handling equipment to transport, load, and unload materials.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs.
- Ensure the safety of the warehouse environment by adhering to OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols.
- Prepare and stage pallets for shipping and receiving with precision and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (required).
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics (preferred).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
